The story behind Figue de vigne comes from the island of La Lande, a secret hideaway part of the Château Smith Haut Lafitte estate, which is home to a hundred year-old fig tree that flourishes among the bulrushes and the ivy. In its shade, the air is divinely perfumed with a singular fragrance. Mathilde Thomas spent entire afternoons beneath this tree, dreaming of one day capturing the fragrance. Figue de vigne is the essence of the island of La Lande."
A wonderful fragrance, especially for summer. The scent is very clean and fresh smelling with long lasting capability. It has a crisp and clean scent. A breath of fresh air! A lovely scent that seamlessly transitions you from spring to summer.
