Ted Baker AW16

Raymond Stuart Kelvin founded Ted Baker in London over 25 years ago with the intention of creating great clothes that were affordable. He's managed to do just that, and have 448 stores in over 35 countries. Despite Kelvin's success in the fashion industry, he isn't a fan of being in the limelight and hardly gives interviews. When photographed, his face is always covered in some way, and it was through his wish to remain anonymous that the brand was named Ted Baker.

Each season, Ted Baker comes out with classic silhouettes and colorful aesthetic. We love how great quality and affordable the pieces are, and how the brand still is very much representative of British style. Being able to look tailored and being able to layer, while also looking casually put together is hard to come by, and Ted Baker's AW16 collection helps us get one step closer to looking 'effortlessly chic.'

Here are some of our favorite pieces from the latest collection. We love the texture- the velvet, crystal embroidered embellishments, high collared dresses... As we transition from summer to fall, he also reminds us that we can still wear floral all year round.
